Senior Division Learn In 2010
Each year, senior division students participate in a series of all-day workshops that comprise our Learn In. Different members of the Bialik community come to school to share their professional expertise with our students through interactive workshops that span a wide range of skills and experiences.
During "Doctor for a Day", students practised injecting grapefruits, setting fingers in plaster, and reading x-rays and ultrasounds. Amongst other sessions, violin players shared their craft, a Jewish firefighter shared insights into her career, and a criminal lawyer provided intriguing decision-making opportunities. Afternoon sessions ranged from curling to baking, sewing to working with a DJ, art to a visit to the Court House.
No wonder Learn In is a highlight of the senior division calendar!
